George joined his mother Mary, nearly a decade ago after a successful stint in some of the most prominent companies in the Silicon Valley. Should I stage my home? Is it expensive?

At the Mary Tan Realty Team, we believe each home and potential seller’s situation is unique. For that reason, we always want to make sure we are accommodating you at a level that you are comfortable with. Staging the interior of a home does generally improve the overall look and attractiveness of the home to potential buyers, but we understand that convenience and cost vary from seller to seller. As far as the price of staging, we provide you with top of the line professional stagers with variable pricing tiers. At every step of the process, we make sure we are here to serve you.

Should I make repairs to my house before I put it on the market?

For home repairs, let our more than 35 years of professional real estate experience act as a guide in your decision on whether or not to make repairs to your home. Of course any improvements or renovations will likely enhance the desirability of your house, but plenty of homes in the market are successfully sold ‘As-Is’, with the buyers shouldering the expense of repairs after the close of escrow. After a thorough home assessment, we will let you make your home repair decision accordingly.
